The Foundation

Faith, Purpose & Stewardship

Our Foundation

This organization is founded upon the truth of the gospel of Jesus Christ. By God’s grace, through faith in Jesus Christ, we exist to glorify God and seek to faithfully steward every opportunity He entrusts to us.

Everything within this organization flows from the truths established in God’s Word and declared in this Foundation.

THE GOSPEL

By grace, through faith, we have been reconciled to God through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Salvation is the gift of God—not the result of our works.

Foundation Scripture

Ephesians 2:8–9 (ESV)

[8] For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God,

[9] not a result of works, so that no one may boast.

OUR IDENTITY

Having been saved by grace through faith, we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to walk in the good works He has prepared for us. Our identity is found in Christ, not in our accomplishments, professions, or organizations.

Foundation Scripture

Ephesians 2:10 (ESV)

[10] For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.

OUR VIEW OF PEOPLE

We believe every person is created in the image of God and is therefore worthy of dignity, compassion, honesty, respect, and love. Every customer, employee, apprentice, volunteer, vendor, and neighbor will be treated accordingly.

We therefore seek to reflect the grace and truth of Jesus Christ in every interaction.

Foundation Scripture

Genesis 1:27 (ESV)

[27] So God created man in his own image,
in the image of God he created him;
male and female he created them.

OUR RESPONSE

Because of the grace we have received through Jesus Christ, we seek to love God, love our neighbors, proclaim the gospel, make disciples, faithfully steward every opportunity God entrusts to us, and demonstrate our faith through lives of faithful service.

Foundation Scriptures

Matthew 22:37–39 (ESV)

[37] And he said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.

[38] This is the great and first commandment.

[39] And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”

Matthew 28:18–20 (ESV)

[18] And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.

[19] Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,

[20] teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

James 2:17–18 (ESV)

[17] So also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.

[18] But someone will say, “You have faith and I have works.” Show me your faith apart from your works, and I will show you my faith by my works.

1 Peter 4:10 (ESV)

[10] As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace.

OUR EXPRESSIONS

Today, we faithfully steward the opportunities God has entrusted to us through:

  • Klein Cooling LLC
  • Community Cares Program
  • Trade Program

The Community Cares Program and Trade Program are made possible through the faithful stewardship of the opportunities and resources God has entrusted to Klein Cooling LLC.

These expressions may change over time. Our foundation does not.

We seek to faithfully steward what God has entrusted to us today while trusting in the Lord and prayerfully following wherever He leads us next.

Foundation Scriptures

Proverbs 3:5–6 (ESV)

[5] Trust in the LORD with all your heart,
and do not lean on your own understanding.

[6] In all your ways acknowledge him,
and he will make straight your paths.

James 4:13–15 (ESV)

[13] Come now, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go into such and such a town and spend a year there and trade and make a profit”—

[14] yet you do not know what tomorrow will bring. What is your life? For you are a mist that appears for a little time and then vanishes.

[15] Instead you ought to say, “If the Lord wills, we will live and do this or that.”

1 Peter 4:10 (ESV)

[10] As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace.

1 Corinthians 4:2 (ESV)

[2] Moreover, it is required of stewards that they be found faithful.

Our Guiding Question

As this organization grows, every new opportunity, ministry, policy, procedure, playbook, partnership, and decision should first be measured against one simple question:

Does it flow from The Foundation?

If the answer is yes, we prayerfully seek to steward that opportunity with excellence, wisdom, and faithfulness.

If the answer is no, it does not belong within this organization.

We are confident in this because our foundation is rooted in the gospel of Jesus Christ.
